DWC Research with Google and AI

DWC Research with Google and AI Online

In this 30-minute session, we will explore how Google, Google's Gemini AI, and other AIs can support or cause problems with ethical research.

  • While "everything is on the Google," researching with Google has strengths and weaknesses compared to researching in the library databases.
  • While AIs are getting "smarter," we must use them very carefully to avoid integrity and credibility issues.

You will learn strategies to quickly find and document quality sources while protecting your academic integrity and promoting your credibility as an educated researcher. Stick around for workshop time to collaboratively explore your own research topics!
