FYSS Your Wellness Blueprint Online

In just 30 minutes, we will explore the importance of wellness for student success, including the different dimensions of wellness and how they impact our overall well-being. We will also provide you with some tools and resources to help you improve your own wellness.

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Define wellness and explain its importance for student success
  • Identify the different dimensions of wellness
  • Practice Mindfulness Exercises
  • Take the Wellness Challenge!

Michael Dufresne

Michael Dufresne is a professor in DeVry's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He has Master's degrees in English and Secondary Education and is a PhD candidate (ABD) in Rhetoric and Writing Studies. He teaches a variety of composition and humanities courses as well as the Gen Ed capstone course. Dufresne has served as a faculty chair and assistant dean of academic excellence and is now on the national curriculum faculty team. His passion has always been promoting success and excellence in learning and teaching.
